In my makeup bag :))

 an intro post. getting to know a little bit of me from looking at the things in my makeup bag ;)

What I carry around is probably ridiculously little if compared to others. I used to bring A LOT of products with me thinking hmmm...what if I needed a shimmerier inner corner, or a darker crease? what if my concealer fades? what if I wanted to bronze my face a little more? I even had a bottle of makeup remover in my bag just in case I needed to remove or redo parts of my makeup! But guess what, those what ifs and cases rarely ever happen. So I've limited the items in my makeup bag to a very reasonable selection:) 

1. The only thing I ever really had to touch up--my lipstick of the day, which has been YSL Rouge Volupte in #13 Peach Passion for quite a longgg while now. The Rouge Voluptes are also my favvvorite lipsticks :)

2. This Coffret D'or gel liner (comes with the twist up brush) is superb as an eyeliner but as a tightliner it can fade throughout the day. Some days it fades just a little, on these days I might or might not bother reapplying. But on some days it will fade very noticeably and when this happens I cannot stand it! I need my black waterline to function properly ;D

3. and 4. The first two are things I need to reapply but unfortunately not without a mirror. Yes, there are mirrors in restrooms and I can run to one every time I wanted to touch up, but I'd rather not. I chose this NARS blush because its the most light weight mirror included compact. I figured well, my NARS mirror does have a blush...oh well why not throw in a blush brush? So the MAC 109  also ended up in my makeup bag. I always use the compact for its mirror but rarely for the blush.

 

 5. Some bobby pins at the bottom of my makeup bag just in case I needed to alter my hair. I've never had to though :S hahaha
